From Zenescope Entertainment, it’s Grimm Fairy Tales #90 with the Dark One featuring!
Visited Upon The Son
The Dark One’s evil reign ruled from the shadows of the Grimm Universe for many years. And when he was struck down, his empire was frayed. But, since his return, he has been re-building an army and is ready to enforce his rule, now with the aid of his son by his side! Don’t miss this epic arc that could prove to be the final fight for The Guardian of the Nexus, Skye Mathers!

Kicking off with a flashback on the land of Myst, we see what the Dark one is up to - and who he is doing it with!1
It’s quite a bloody battle, and I like how the tide turns in the battle and Sela’s reaction to all that is going on. She still doesn’t have any memories of her daughter, but something pushed her towards her and between them, they are going to rescue the friends of Sela.
Of course, there are obstacles, and I like how the mother/daughter duo work them out. It’s a clever aspect and could have worked without slipping the tongue.
I really like the cliffhanger to the end of this issue and from the previous battles, it really ramps up the threat level of what they are both up against.
In both the flashback and ‘now’ scenes, I really enjoyed the art style and panels. The final panel has stuck in my head, and I hope this continues through the arc.
