After the big reveal of the initial issue, Kill All Immortals #2 continues the story, and it’s now from Dark Horse Comics.

A Viking always answers the ruthless, vicious call of war in the name of their clan and their kin. Now, as immortal Viking Frey Asvald journeys to her family’s mysterious Nordic homeland for ancient secrets, she must decide whether she will embrace her killer instincts to challenge her family. Succession meets John Wick… with immortal Vikings.

Author: Zackary Kaplan
Artist: Fico Ossio

I would say that two-thirds of this issue is bloody action. That is a good amount and it all moves fast.

After the reveal of the first issue, there is a lot to take in and cover. And this is covered along with a fair amount of geography. I loved how this works out, with plenty to take in with the movie-style art pieces within this comic.

Frey is an interesting character. You can see a certain amount of contrition with how she and her family have been over the centuries and how she wanted to be better. Of course, the rest of the family doesn’t see it that way!

We get some hints about their origin and the mystical elements of their immortality. I would like to explore that more, but I’m sure that will come.

Frey does her best to provide some information and give the family an escape from this rampage. It doesn’t look like that will work, though, and I love how that moves on.

This, as I said earlier, is a fast-paced issue, and even so, there is enough time to breathe, which makes the pacing of the story well done and having some time to take it all in.

There is a lot more to this story, and I look forward to it like an action-packed prime-time TV serial.

The Strange Case Of 'Tales From The Quarantine'
On the darker side of crowdfunders though, some will know that some projects will fall through.
