Demarco P.I. by Hannah Templer (w+a+l)
I enjoy reading Demarco's stories, and this is a good ‘year one’ story. Introducing the craziness of Mega-City One and the character. it was an interesting mystery and some good back-and-forth between the characters.
Walter the Wobot: Don't Be Cwuel by Roger Langridge (w+a+l) Pippa Bowland (c)
Comedy is an art, and I enjoy this use of Walter the Wobot. There is some good humour here, and some well played out storytelling.
Devlin Waugh: Wedding Hells by Oliver Gerlach (w) VV Glass (a) Simon Bowland (l)
It’s always good to see Devlin Waugh; this is a good past history of the character that grows into what we know. There are some good hints, and the mix of religion and celebrity was well-played.
Cranium Chaos by Lucie Ebrey (w+a+l)
A funny short showcasing the citizens of the citizens and their fads. Some grotesque art and perfectly suited to the story.
Harlem Heroes vs The Venetian Vipers by Ramzee (w) Korinna Mei Veropoulou (a) Simon Bowland (l)
Some big action to finish off with some science and spot. Clever use of Chekov’s Gun there too.
