The second part of the hard-hitting arc, Space Ghost #5, is out now from Dynamite Comics.
Following his harrowing escape from Omegan Prison, the murderous cult leader known as Zorak has begun taking hostages — including Space Ghost's new wards Jan and Jace. With innocent lives on the line, Space Ghost must submit to his most dangerous enemy as he unveils his universe-shaking plans — but what happens if Zorak's religion turns out to be real? Who is the Locust of the Apocalypse?!? All we can say is this: Not everyone makes it out in one piece!

After the previous issue’s cliffhanger, Space Ghost is in a bad place. Physically and mentally. The kids are being held hostage by the insane Zorak, who wants to release devastation across the cosmos.
This is a nonstop issue, not slowing down at all, and I enjoyed not only the world-building but also the character moments.
Space Ghost makes a decision, which shows how tough this decision is. Meanwhile, the kids have a plan of their own.
There is a big reveal here, and it’s possible that this can be used in the future. I love the reveal and the reaction to it. To my mind, it was like a Hordak1-style threat and fits in well with the tone and stylings of the story.
The level of action is excellent and there is a great degree of chaos at the final part of the story, with minions and battles going on all sides. The artwork shows this, and the previous scenes really well. There is good detail on the action, suspense, conflict and clever little hints.
This issue does finish with something that will move the larger arc, and I wonder how that will play out. It’s understandable on both sides and well thought out.
Another excellent issue with some classic science fiction tendancies!
