Two new comics out this week from Zenescope Entertainment, with Grimm Fairy Tales #91 and Hell Heist #2.
Grimm Fairy Tales #91
Skies Of Fire
Has Skye Mathers, the Guardian of the Nexus, truly joined the Dark Horde? As the Dark One nears his end goal, and the realms of power inch toward annihilation, the fate of existence hangs in the balance! Don’t miss the epic finale of the story that could change the balance of power in the Grimm Universe forever!

Completing the arc and wrapping up some loose ends was an entertaining issue.
Skye is not acting herself, and her mother - who still doesn’t remember her - has to deal with her. This is dealt with in some short order, and I think this story beat could have been dragged along a little further. Perhaps it is something we will come back to down the road.
Then, we are onto the reason for the Dark One’s plan. The problem is that he isn’t the only one with a plan! There aren’t just dead warriors beyond the veil, but there is something else…
I like how this was dealt with. It had some good action and finished off the story arc (and other things, too) while leaving that particular issue open for use in the future.
A small problem in the next issue!

Hell Heist #2 (of 2)
After narrowly escaping death at the hands of demonic truckers, Luke finds an unexpected ally in Celine—the very woman his crew had stolen from. Desperate times call for desperate measures as Celine enlists Luke’s help to prevent an impending apocalypse. Together, they race toward the Arizona desert, determined to stop a group of men intent on literally raising hell on Earth. But as they confront ancient evil, Luke is blindsided by an unforeseen twist that changes everything.

This was an excellent end to this two-part story. Yes, there was a lot of lore built into this and we get answers, character motivations and more.
It also works as a setup for some future adventures with these characters if the story is right to come back to. Nevertheless, it finished well and had some good storytelling and entertaining artwork.
This had some good reveals and reasoning behind it, with some that made a lot of sense and I guessed at when the story unfolded - no spoilers here!
I like how it all played out and the action, combined with the approach to the story works well.
