The finale of this fantastic series is here, and things get wrapped up. But it’s not all sweetness and light…

This is Beneath The Trees Where Nobody Sees #6 from IDW Publishing.

At the end of this issue, someone will die.

There’s no way to avoid it, so we simply won’t try; A horrific plan drives the fate of our bear; And unspeakable actions will give quite a scare; Join us now, as we finally lift the veil-As this, my friends, is the end of our tale!

After completing this tale, there is still some way to get to the ending. Sam is on the run but has had a revelation and is determined to get her own back and clear her name.

Of the murders she is accused of, of course.

What follows goes as planned, but there are still some exciting surprises to take in, and how that may look in a re-read of the story1.

Sam’s plan is pretty simple. It means that her name should be clear and perhaps a sense of closure for her and some of the other victims. Even so, there is a degree of cleverness from both murderers in this story; it’s just that Sam is a lot smarter.

This was an enjoyable read, and it’s been a great short series. The artwork and some of the scenes have been perfect, and I loved the use of colouring, reflections and other tricks in the art and panelling.

There are some interesting reactions to the ending, but I think we all got that sense of closure.

Fantastic and I can’t wait for the collected edition!
